Cows Attack!

Paul Bowers

Those cud-chewing cowards,

They wanna kill us kids!

They’re cunning and they’re clever,

Those cows, they’ve flipped their lids!

For too many cookouts

We’ve cut up those cows,

I cower in the corner,

The cows are coming now!

They’ll creep into your closet

And kill you in the night,

Butchers’ k-nives for cutting

Beneath their calico coats of black and white.

Cows Attack!

This is a kind of weird, twisted poem from the depths of a tormented soul.  Not really, but it’s kind of nifty because it uses personification, which is cool.
